How We Charge & How It Saves Our Clients Money
Traditionally, Real Estate Company’s charge a Commission that is a percentage of the Sales Price and offer out a portion of that Commission (typically half) to any agent who brings a Buyer to the property. This agent is legally called the Selling Agent but is more commonly referred to as the Buyers Agent.
So, in most cases, with a Traditional Real Estate Company a seller would pay a 6% Commission and it would be split at closing between the Listing Agent’s Company and the Buyer Agent’s Company. LIST Birmingham believes in the value of Buyer Agents and knows that offering a competitive commission to the agent who brings the buyer is an important part of selling a property.
Where clients save money working with us is we work on a Flat Listing Fee, no matter the sales price of the home.
